Beckie Bright, Land Manager
Beckie joined Roxanna Oil Company as Land Manager, in May 2011, bringing with her over 30 years of experience as a Landman. She began her career with Texaco Inc. in the early 1980′s, upon graduating from the University of Texas, Petroleum Land Management Program. Beckie’s oil, gas and mineral knowledge spans over 10 states, but especially includes the San Joaquin Valley, the Arkoma, Piceance and Powder River basins. More recently, Beckie concentrated on researching mineral title from sovereignty, and directed and completed title curative projects in South and Central Texas. Beckie’s expertise encompasses resolving in-house issues related to oil and gas acquisitions, joint operating agreements, mining claims, oil shale joint ventures and sales of producing properties. Beckie’s strengths include curing title, drafting complex exploration agreements, and negotiating and managing contracts for acquisitions and joint operations. Beckie is a licensed attorney in the State of Colorado and a Certified Professional Landman/Environmental Site Assessor.
